Murrough Sedge

 The Murrough Sedge is a type of Great Red Sedge that starts showing up in lakes during June. This fly is usually fished dry or static but can be very effective when twitched across the surface to mimic the natural skittering motion. It is a large fly that frequently lures in big fish, making it a popular choice among anglers, especially on Lough Sheelin.
