Imp Green Egg
Massively effective fly but causes controversy amongst
fishermen and fisheries. Banned in some and described as not true fly fishing,
egg flies work exceptionally well under a bung. Fished in a static or slow pull
so it drops gently through the water. Needs to be used in a quick-strike way to
avoid harm to the fish as they are known to swallow the smaller patterns more
deeply than the other flies.
