Griffith's Gnat - #16

The Griffith’s Gnat often seems overlooked, with many anglers opting for more popular dry flies like the Caddis or Blue Wing Olive. However, I've discovered that the Gnat can be remarkably effective when other flies fail to attract bites. It can mimic a midge cluster or a solitary adult midge, depending on its size. This versatile fly was created by George Griffith, one of the founders of Trout Unlimited.
